Well, the University year is winding down, and so is University Ultimate. ANUDE has had a great year, complete with lots of great competition, training, recruitment, and good times.
In late September, 12 hardy souls travelled down to Melbourne to represent ANUDE in the Unigames competition. After 12 hard games and 5 days of play, ANU came home with a solid 15th place finish. Congratulations to all players, especially the captain, James Kingsmill and to MVPs James Kingsmill, Natalie Cheong and Mica Hartley.
In other exciting news, the ANUDE 2009 executive has been voted in, and they've already started working hard to ensure another successful season in 2009. The following people have kindly volunteered to give up their valuable and scarce free time to help ANU Ultimate grow:
